Hands-On SEO Certification Training Comes to Beaverton, Oregon
Portland, OR(PRWEB) August 30, 2007 -- Colleen Wright has announced that her new undertaking, Search Engine Academy of Oregon, has begun to accept registrations for classes in Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Ms. Wright received training in Search Engine Marketing from the owners of Search Engine Academy (SEA), John Alexander and Robin Nobles. As the new SEA associate in Oregon, Ms. Wright offers the same training in Oregon as she received from these two leaders in the field of SEO. Ms. Wright's goal is to train people to leverage the Internet. "Both of my parents are educators," she explains, "So teaching is in my blood. Demonstrating proper search engine optimization techniques is rewarding, especially when students share their successes after following the techniques outlined in class."
Ms. Wright has had fifteen years of experience as a marketing professional with a strong understanding of both online and offline marketing tactics and strategies. She is a graduate of Portland State University in Portland, Oregon and a member and volunteer on the education committee of the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO). She is also a member of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and a member and volunteer for Search Engine Marketing Professionals of Portland (SEMpdx).
Says Ms. Wright, "I am very excited to offer the Search Engine Workshops in Oregon. I went through this very same program in Las Vegas and it has helped me define a step-by-step process I can use when optimizing websites. It is amazing the difference optimization makes. I have a real estate client whose conversion rate increased from virtually zero to over 8% and their traffic has more than doubled. I look forward to hearing about similar successes from my students."
Workshop dates are scheduled for September 24-28, 2007 at the Kingstad Center in Beaverton, Oregon and October 22-26, 2007 also at the Kingstad Center in Beaverton. People can sign up for a 2-day beginner workshop, 3-day advanced workshop or the 5-day comprehensive workshop. For more information, please visit http://www.sea-oregon.com/upcoming-workshops/
